SGC-CK2-1 is an ATP-competitive chemical compound that acts as a highly potent and cell-active CK2 inhibitor. It demonstrates excellent selectivity towards both isoforms of human CK2, with IC50 values of 36 nM for CK2alpha and 16 nM for CK2alpha in the nanoBRET assay. Given its properties, SGC-CK2-1 is a suitable tool for the investigation of neurodegenerative diseases.
