Human Mammary Epithelial cells undergo changes in growth, invasion and differentiation throughout much of adulthood under the control of hormones. They can be easily induced proliferate and differentiate by hormones and thus are suited for developmental investigations and three-dimensional culture. Furthermore, they are ideal models for breast cancer in vitro research since breast cancer usually originates in the lobules or ducts of the mammary glands. abms Primary Mammary Epithelial Cells are isolated from healthy human adult mammary.
