GCDFP-15, or Gross Cystic Disease Fluid Protein or prolactin inducible protein (PIP), has various functions in the human reproductive and immunological systems. It can be found expressed in all apocrine, lacrimal, ceruminous, and Moll's glands and in numerous serous cells of the submandibular, sublingual, and minor salivary glands.
