Background	Human CD44 molecules appear to serve as lymphocyte adhesion molecules with numerous functions in extracellular matrix binding, cell migration, hemopoisis, and lymphocyte homing. Antibody BU52 recognizes epitope 1 of the CD44 molecule, and is useful for Western Blot (4).

Purity	Antibody was Protein A purified from (low FBS containing) tissue culture supernatant. Puritywas >95% Immunoglobulin by SDS-PAGE with less than 1% Bovine Immunoglobulin.
Storage	Store at 2 - 5°C. Freeze/Thawing is not recommended.
Storage Buffer	50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 0.5 mg/ml Gentamicin Sulfate (as a preservative).
