Description
Specificity: This Polyclonal antibody is directed against human EIF4ENIF1 protein. The product was purified from serum by protein A chromatography. Expect reactivity with human EIF4ENIF1. Cross-reactivity with EIF4ENIF1 from other sources has not been determined.Relevance: eIF4ENIF1 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein for the translation initiation factor eIF4E. This shuttle protein mediates the nuclear import of eIF4E, by interacting with the importin alpha-beta complex. It is predominantly cytoplasmic; its own nuclear import is regulated by a nuclear localization signal and nuclear export signals.
