Description	CD45RB, which includes three glycoproteins with molecular mass of 190, 205 and 220 kD has been found to belong to the CD45 family. All of the isoforms of the CD45 family share the same intracellular segment, which has been shown to have protein tyrosine phosphatase activity. CD45 polypeptides function in the regulation of cell activation and proliferation by dephosphorylating the proteins already phosphorylated by kinase. Monoclonal antibody MEM55 can be used to stain CD45RB antigen on most T cells, B cells, monocytes, and macrophages. The cellular distribution of CD45RB is very similar to that of other conventional CD45 antibodies, except that some cells, such as Langerhan's cells and a small subset of T cells, are negative
