Description	Cytokeratin 19 protein of molecular mass 40 kD is a simple epithelia tissue marker. Cytokeratin 19 has been found in ovarian cysts, cystadenomas, and ovarian carcinomas, mesothelial and mesothelioma cells, in tumor cells of pulmonary metastases, in adenocarcinomas of the lung and in the ductal cells of normal pancreas and in pancreatic cancers. It has been shown to be present in the basal layer of non-keratinizing stratified squamous epithelia such as the oral cavity and the ectocervix. The RCK108 antibody to Cytokeratin 19 reacts with many types of epithelial cells including many ductal and glandular epithelia
