Description	Epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin) also known as cadherin-1, is an intercellular adhesion molecule present in epithelial cells. E-cadherin regulates bacterial adhesion to mammalian cells. Deficiencies or loss of function of E-cadherin is associated with cancer progression via increased invasion, metastasis, or proliferation of tumour cells. SensiStain^TM Anti-E-cadherin Antibody stains glandular epithelium, as well as lung, gastrointestinal and ovarian adenocarcinomas expressing E-cadherin. SensiStain^TM Anti-E-cadherin Antibody is created to detect E-cadherin and is a valuable tool for use.
