BRAF gene probe (KIAA1549 / BRAF) was labeled with orange dye at the 3'end of BRAF gene and green dye at the 5'end of BRAF gene. The probe uses a non repeated sequence probe to design a BRAF fracture probe.
Description
Solid tumor
Clinical Significance
Hairy cell astrocytoma is a well-defined, slow-growing cystic astrocytoma that often occurs in children and young adults. Up to now, the KIAA1549/BRAF fusion gene of the patients with 60%~80%'s hair cell astrocytoma is found, and the detection of the fusion gene through FISH has the differential significance in the low grade glioma.
