Description	PDGF is a dimer, exists in three isoforms: PDGF AA, PDGF BB and PDGF AB. PDGF binds with high specificity to two cell surface receptors, PDGFR-alpha and PDGFR-beta. PDGF is one of the most important clinical factor required in wound healing and revascularization and could play an significant role in epithelial tumor formation. Hyper activation of PDGF leads to production of extracellular matrix components like collagens, proteoglycans, and laminin in excess. PDGFR is a key regulator for mediating various cell proliferation and migration responses. The monoclonal antibody to PDGF-B has been studied for understanding the role of PDGFs potential clinical utility in wound healing and revascularization
